Dental Insurance ‘20-40-60’ does not cover:
- Cosmetic treatments
- Missing teeth the when the insurance was taken out
- Orthodontics and bite adjustment

Annual limit on cover
This dental insurance covers treatments immediately, which means that within each treatment category some annual maximum limits apply. The limits are outlined below. The longer you have your insurance, the better you will be covered in the future. 
You are in charge
It is entirely up to you when you want to get your teeth done. You just make an appoint with your dentist, we will not interfere. We also will not interfere with which dentist you choose, as long as the dentist resides within the EU. When we cover a dental treatment, we do so based on our own rates. They are generally slightly above the national average dental rates. You will find our rates on the last page of your insurance conditions or on our website under ‘practical info’.
How do I use the insurance?
As soon as you have bought Dental Insurance 20-40-60, you can go to the dentist and get the treatments you need. You do not have to ask for permission and you can choose which dentist you want to use. Once you have paid the bill, you can ‘send’ it to us in two ways. You can either upload it via your private profile with Dansk Tandforsikring or you can ask your dentist if they can report it to us. They can do so if they use DentalSuite, which 60% of Danish dentists do. We will process your invoice within a week and the reimbursement will be paid directly to your NemKonto.
Insurance conditions
With Dental Insurance ‘20-40-60’ you get help paying your dental bill, almost regardless of the reason for your treatment. However, you should be aware that the following is not covered:
- Missing teeth at the time when the insurance was taken out
- Cosmetic treatments
- Orthodontic treatment
