Cancellation of insurance

If you wish to cancel your dental insurance, you must always do so in writing. Send an email to til info@dansktandforsikring.dk – remember to include your policy number and/or customer number. You will always receive confirmation of your cancellation. If you do not receive confirmation, your insurance has not been cancelled. The insurance can be cancelled free of charge if it is done according to the provisions of your insurance conditions. Most insurance schemes must be cancelled at not less than one month’s notice before the renewal date, although this may vary depending on the type of insurance you have.

Fee for cancellation within the first year

If the insurance is cancelled within the first year, a special fee corresponding to the annual premium will be charged. Premiums already paid will be included as part of the fee.

Fee for early cancellation after the first year

If you wish to cancel your insurance early, i.e. cancelling the insurance to end after the current month plus 30 days, a fee will be charged. For all schemes, premiums are payable for the current month plus 30 days. In addition, a fee must be paid. For insurance taken out by individuals, the cancellation fee is DKK 300, for Dental Insurance 20-40-60 the fee is limited to one month’s premium.
