Transfer of policy to Gjensidige

All insurance policies sold through Dansk Tandforsikring Administration have been taken out through the insurance company Global Dental Insurance (also known as Dansk Tandforsikring A/S). In 2022, Gjensidige Forsikring acquired Global Dental Insurance and the majority shareholding in Dansk Tandforsikring Administration ApS. Global Dental Insurance has requested the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority to transfer the portfolio from Global Dental Insurance to Gjensidige Forsikring. After the portfolio transfer, Gjensidige Forsikring will be your new insurance company. Gjensidige Forsikring ASA is a leading Nordic non-life insurance company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange which has offered insurance services for more than 200 years. The company is based in Oslo with branches in Denmark, Sweden and the three Baltic countries and has approx. 3,800 employees. Gjensidige Forsikring’s Danish branch is a member of the Danish Guarantee Fund for Non-life Insurers. Read more about Gjensidige Forsikring at gjensidige.dk/om-os Dansk Tandforsikring will continue as a brand under Gjensidige Forsikring, and the portfolio transfer will not affect you as a personal or commercial customer. Your insurance policies will continue under the name of Dansk Tandforsikring and with the same insurance terms and conditions, but Gjensidige will be the insurer after the transfer. All inquiries regarding your insurance policies, in the event of claims etc., should therefore be made in the same way as before the portfolio transfer. The portfolio transfer is subject to approval by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority, and the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority has published a report in the Danish Official Gazette and the Danish newspaper Berlingske Tidende in connection with the request for the portfolio transfer.
